5 Star Review of The Coalmont Legend

5 Stars: What an astounding book

By D. Slowey-Thomason March 19, 2015

If you read the first book and are expecting a continuation of that book, surprise! This book was by far a better story, with little connection to the first one til midway and even that was because the same Bigfoot clan was involved though not the main part of the plot. This story had paranormal, Indian curses, and an archangel who remained just a leader till towards the end when he revealed himself to fight evil and corruption. This is a book for everyone,it is enlightening and leaves you feeling good. It is a parallel to life in many ways with lots of twists and turns, monsters of evil and and an angel of goodness. It has a little of everything and slot for anyone who reads it.

Researching history has been fascinating!

When writing a book there is so much of work that goes into it. For example, when I decided to write this book I wanted to learn more about the history of the Coalmont town which inspired me to write the book. Back in the late 1800's early 1900's, families would travel by horse and wagon into the wilderness and build a town so they could mine. It would have taken a lot of hard labour to accomplish this. Remember that they didn't have the technology like they do now. But they actually did it! Here are some pictures that I found while researching.
